DesignWorking with Page Turnbull Architecture, Arrow surveyed the existing sign and recommended replacing the letters with new LED illumination. Working from a laser scan of the existing sign, the letters were fabricated to the exact letter shape and lamp spacing.
The LED illumination incorporates Color Kinetics illumination and controls with each fixture having an individual IP address. This allows for full control of each LED element. |

FabricationThe existing letters were removed and shipped to Arrow's Stockton facility to reference all supporting hardware and construction. The 19' tall letters were fabricated and tested prior to installation.

InstallationThe letters were shipped to the site and installed to the existing galvanized frame with a hydraulic crane. The letter illumination is controlled with a remote DMX controller. Several preprogrammed shows were created for seasonal and specific events and can be controlled with a mobile app.
